Some Actions
Here is an incomplete list of more suggestions for action offered by members of our community to respond to this tragedy. This is a work in progress. You may send your suggestions to the MMM webclerk.
- Pray for the victims and assailants in this tragedy.
- Pray for our national leaders that they may design and implement a humane course of action.
- Worship, worship, worship. Worship, meditate, or pray as much as you need to to find and maintain your center.
- Study the Bible, Koran, and other writings of spiritual value.
- Reach out to friends for support. Share your joys, pain, triumphs, doubts, and prayers with them.
- Consider how your daily acts may help or hinder understanding between you and your neighbors.
- Remember to take care of your body by eating, exercising, resting, and sleeping.
- Look for ways to reach out to family, friends, neighbors, and others who are grieving at this time.
- Contact your government representatives to share your views and offer constructive suggestions for their action.
- Consider how you may offer aid or assistance to those in need.

These links are provided, in addition to the links above, for your use in finding a broad spectrum of spiritual and political views. Meeting does not necessarily endorse views listed in any links presented at our website.
